August 2026 Project Update: The Hole Is Getting Bigger, and So Is the Project
The hole is getting bigger, and that is a good thing. August brought visible progress at Labadi Beach Apartments, from ongoing excavation works to new ways for buyers to follow the project. See what is happening on site, how many units are still available, what is new digitally, and what comes next.

If you have been following Labadi Beach Apartments, you may have noticed something.

The site is changing.
And that very large hole in the ground? It is not galamsey. It is progress.
August has been another important month for Labadi Beach Apartments as work continues on site and the project moves from what was once a vision on paper to something you can physically see taking shape.
For us, this is exactly why regular project updates matter.
Buying an off-plan property should not feel like sending money into a black hole and hoping for the best. You should be able to ask questions, see progress and understand what is happening with the project.
So, here is what has been happening.
First, Yes. There Is a Very Big Hole.

If you have seen our latest site video, you already know what we mean.
The excavation works have moved ahead, creating the space needed for the underground components of the development.
Standing at the site today gives you a very different feeling from looking at the original renders.
The building is not above ground yet, but the work happening below ground is an important part of getting there.
This is one of those stages that may not look as exciting as a finished swimming pool or an ocean-view balcony.
But every tall building starts somewhere.
And for this one, it starts here.

From Render to Reality
When we first showed people the Labadi Beach Apartments renders, many saw the finished building.
Now, we are starting to show people the journey to get there.
That is why we are increasing the amount of project media we share.
You will see more:
- Site progress photos
- Construction updates
- Project videos
- Updated digital renders
- Virtual project experiences
- Location and lifestyle content
- More detailed views of the apartments and amenities
The goal is simple.
We do not want you to only imagine the project.
We want you to follow it as it grows.
What About the Apartments?
This is probably the question we get the most.
"Are there still units available?"
Yes, but availability is changing as reservations and sales progress.
As of this August update:
Units sold/reserved: 83
Units currently available: 113
Phase: Phase 1
The project website currently describes Phase 1 as strictly limited and allows interested buyers to request a private VR walkthrough and allocation.
We are sharing this because availability is not something you should have to guess.
If you are interested in a particular unit type, floor or view, the best thing to do is speak with the sales team and confirm what is available at the time of enquiry.
Because with property, "I will check later" can sometimes become "Oh, someone took the unit I want."
We Are Also Bringing the Project to Your Screen
Another big part of August has been improving how people experience Labadi Beach Apartments digitally.
Not everyone can visit the site immediately.
Some of our potential buyers are in Accra.
Some are outside Accra.
And some are thousands of kilometres away.
So, we are building better ways for you to see and understand the project without needing to jump on a plane.
Our digital experience now includes Email Newsletter updates and the Website Articles
That means you can get more detailed updates of the project before making a decision.
And yes, we are still working on bringing you more.
Because an ocean-view apartment should not be explained with three blurry pictures and a WhatsApp message saying, "Trust me."
A Few Questions We Keep Getting
"Is the project actually under construction?"
Yes.
The project officially broke ground in June 2026, and construction activity is now progressing on site. The development is planned as an 18-storey mixed-use project near Labadi Beach.
"Can I buy from outside Ghana?"
Yes.
You do not have to be physically in Accra to start the process. You can enquire, request information and arrange a remote presentation with the sales team.
"Can I see the project before buying?"
Yes.
You can request a private presentation and VR walkthrough to better understand the project and the available options.
"Where exactly is it?"
The project is located around the Giffard Road and Labadi Road area, close to Labadi Beach and the Ghana International Trade Fair Centre. The project site places the development close to major areas such as the airport, Osu, hospitals, schools, malls and business districts.
What Happens Next?
The exciting part about construction is that every update should look different from the one before it.
The hole becomes foundations.
The foundations become structure.
The structure becomes floors.
And one day, those renders we have been showing you will no longer be renders.
They will be the actual building.
For September, we will continue sharing site progress, new visuals and more information to help buyers make informed decisions.
If you have been watching from the sidelines, this is also a good time to ask questions.
Not because we want you to rush.
But because the best property decisions are usually made when you have the information you need.
Labone Heights: A New Development Takes Shape in Labone
A new project is about to add to the changing face of Labone. On Friday, 4 September 2026, Labone Heights, developed by Oriental Royal Estates Ltd., a member of the Oriental Royal Estates Group, will break ground.
Located in Labone, Accra, the project is a 10-floor twin-tower development planned to bring residential and commercial spaces together in one well-connected location.
The development will include a range of homes, from studio and 1-bedroom apartments to 2-bedroom and 3-bedroom apartments, as well as penthouses. Commercial spaces will also form part of the development.
The groundbreaking is more than the start of construction. It marks the next step in bringing the Labone Heights vision to life and adds another project to the Oriental Royal Estates Group's growing portfolio in Accra.
As construction begins, it will be interesting to watch the project move from plans and designs to a development that becomes part of the Labone neighbourhood.
Want to See Where Things Stand?
If you are considering buying at Labadi Beach Apartments, you can request the latest availability, arrange a private presentation or request a VR walkthrough.
The project is moving.
The site is changing.
And Phase 1 will not stay at the same availability forever.
So, if you have been saying, "Let me just watch the project for a little longer"...
Well, this is your sign to at least come and take a proper look.
